What is “application component provider”?

A vendor that provides the Java classes that implement components’ methods, JSP page definitions, and any required deployment descriptors.

As of my last knowledge update in January 2022, there isn’t a widely recognized term “application component provider” specifically associated with advanced Java concepts. However, it’s possible that the term has gained relevance or specific meaning in the time since then.

In the context of Java EE (Enterprise Edition) or advanced Java frameworks, an “application component” typically refers to modules or units of an enterprise application, such as EJBs (Enterprise JavaBeans), servlets, JSPs (JavaServer Pages), etc.

If the term “application component provider” has been introduced or gained significance after my last update, I recommend checking the latest Java documentation, books, or authoritative online resources for the most accurate and up-to-date information on advanced Java concepts.
